Virtual Classroom
Not all online classrooms are created equal. At Primavera you’ll be learning in a state-of-the-art virtual space. Plus, you’ll have access to the resources and support you need to succeed.
The Classroom
Primavera’s online classroom is engineered specifically for our students with advanced, user-friendly technologies. Teacher-led lessons, classroom discussion boards and ample teacher availability throughout the school day create a collaborative learning environment and supportive online community.
A Customized Learning Experience
Every student has a unique learning style and preferences. That’s why we offer customization options around classroom colors schemes and the choice between infinite scroll and click-through layouts.
Course Structure
Our unique online classroom and course structure provide the highest level of flexibility and personalized support for our K-12th grade students:
- Semester-long courses for grades K-8
- 12-week trimester courses, 6-week credit recovery courses and 4-week summer school courses for grades 9-12
- Teacher-led online class sessions for grades K–12
- Approximately 3–4 hours of daily independent online coursework
- Teachers are readily available during the weekday to help students individually
- Coursework can be completed from any location and time of the day
Recording Attendance
Just like with traditional school, it is important you attend classes regularly. Attendance must be recorded every day.
If you do not log in to your account for 10 consecutive days, your account will be automatically locked. To unlock your account, you will need to contact your guidance counselor at 480.456.6678, option 4.
How to Record Attendance
- Log in to your account
- Click on the calendar icon located on the top, left-hand corner or middle of your screen
- This will take you to the attendance page, where you can easily record by day
- Fill out every section, and attendance will automatically submit
- K–3 grades are required to spend about 20 hours a week, grades 4-12 should spend about 30 hours (more info here)
- Any work time spent in the virtual classroom counts as attendance
- Work spent outside the virtual classroom, such as reading or studying, also counts as attendance
Connecting with your Teachers
Communicating with your instructors is simple. In fact, many of our students report that they communicate with their teachers more at Primavera than they ever did at their traditional school.
How to Contact Your Teacher(s):
- Log in to your account
