At Primavera, we have some of the best, most talented, hard-working students there are! That’s why we’ve decided to shine the light on a few of our amazing students. Each month, our teachers nominate a student they feel has gone above and beyond, and we get the opportunity to get to know them and shine the light on them a bit in this blog! The Student of the Month Committee Proudly Presents February Student of the Month Recipients
High School Student of the Month: Katie Bowen
Katie, an 11th grade student, was nominated for Student of the Month by Bethany Weddle. “ I’ve worked with Katie for several years now. Katie is a remarkably kind and resilient young woman. Katie has worked very hard to maintain a high level of academic performance. Though shy at times, she is one of the most kind and encouraging students I work with. She is always willing to share and encourage others during small group sessions and never leaves without saying thank you and I hope you have a good day. This young woman is an overcomer and a wonderful example to peers of resilience. Katie would love to work as a psychologist or counselor who works with youth.”
