This week, we received hundreds of heartfelt messages from current and former students, parents and guardians who want to share their stories and express what Primavera means to them. In their messages, they share how our school has made a difference in their lives and the success they’ve had as Primavera Panthers.

We want to take a moment to share one of the letters we received. It’s from a freshman who has been attending our school for the past three years. Check it out below!

Dear Primavera Online School,

I am writing as a current student at Primavera Online School to share my perspective and express my concern about the possible closure of the school. Primavera has been a vital part of my education and personal development, and I strongly believe it serves a critical role for students like me.

In-person schools were not a good fit for me. They were often distracting, and I found it hard to focus on my studies. Some students would take advantage of the teachers, acting out when they left the room dancing, behaving disruptively, and saying inappropriate things. There was a lack of respect for teachers and classmates, and sometimes the teachers weren’t able to take the time to address these issues effectively. Additionally, in-person schools exposed me to negative influences, including drugs and vandalism, which created an unsafe and unproductive environment.

At Primavera, I have found a school that truly feels like the perfect fit. I’ve never found a school better than Primavera, and I feel comfortable, motivated, and supported here. The teachers are exceptional they take the time to help students understand their assignments and encourage us to do better and be successful. It’s also important to recognize that when students fail, it’s not always the school’s fault. Both online and in-person schools face challenges with students who might become lazy or unmotivated. Primavera provides excellent resources and support, and it’s up to students to take advantage of these opportunities.

Personally, I feel that God has been a guiding force in helping me with my assignments and studies at Primavera. It would be an honor and a pleasure to graduate through this school because it has truly helped me focus, do my best, and succeed in ways I never thought possible

Closing Primavera would not only affect students like me but also harm the dedicated teachers and staff who work tirelessly to support us. This decision would disrupt countless lives and limit opportunities for those who rely on the unique services the school provides.

I urge you to reconsider this decision and explore alternative solutions that would allow Primavera to continue operating and supporting the many students who benefit from its programs.

Thank you for taking the time to hear my voice and for considering the impact this decision has on our community.

Sincerely, Isaias Gomez Rodriguez, Freshman Student

Thanks for sharing your story with us, Isaias!

My son was a primavera student. He was with a different online school and they didn’t treat him very nicely and he found primavera. Because of primavera he did graduate. The teachers at primavera are awesome the only main issue was his English class but they kept helping him and when the diploma came in the mail I was so excited to give it to him he didn’t want to graduate on stage which you know Mom wanted it but he didn’t and that’s okay but he graduated and it’s thanks to primavera we went through a bad divorce with his dad and we had issues because of his dad but primavera teachers were non-judgmental and had a lot of compassion and helped him. I am so thankful for primavera if I had known about it when he was in junior high he probably would have started then to be honest with you but he accomplished graduating with good grades and I’m so thankful for the teachers at primavera.
