It’s been a long road. But we are so excited to say that Primavera’s biggest event of the year (next to graduation, of course) is back! Prom 2022 is happening May 21.
If you’re a 9–12th grade student between the ages of 14–20, you and your guests are invited!
The Primavera Student Government Club led a student-wide vote, and you all picked One Night in Hollywood – A Red Carpet Premiere for the theme.
Enjoy a night as a celebrity in your best get-up, with great music and great people! Here are the details we have for now. We’ll post more as we obtain the info, so be sure to stay tuned to this blog!

I plan on attending
I don’t think 9th-10th graders should be aloud because it’s prom and prom is for juniors and seniors.
I agree!
we deserve to ahs just as much fun as you guys do.
Where is this event to take place? What is the physical Address?
Hi, Skip. The blog is now updated with location info. 🙂 Prom will be at the Mesa Country Club Resort, 660 W Fairway Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201 on May 21, from 7 – 10:30 p.m.
About the dress code, could I wear plain black vans with a dress?
Hi, Faith. Absolutely! Sounds like a great outfit 🙂
What kind of ID are we supposed to use?
Will we have go wear masks at the prom?
As of now, we are not requiring masks, but guests are more than welcome to wear masks if they’d like.
i think the one that pops up when you click the launch course page.
I was wondering if masks will be required?
Would I be able to use my state ID or driver license for a identification at the prom
Yep! Either one will work 🙂
I plan on attending! Will masks be required?
I plan on attending!
hello would my brother and his girlfriend be able to come with me? they are both 20 but are already graduated. i dont want to go alone.
Hi, Chloe! Absolutely! 🙂 You can bring up to three non-Primavera students as guests, who just need to be under 21. Just as a reminder, all three of you will need to purchase a ticket and submit a permission slip. See you there!
Hi, so 9th graders are allowed to attend? They just have to be 14 years of age or above right?
Also, when these dances come into play each year, do you usually see girls wearing long dresses or shorter dresses? Thanks let me know.
Hi, Bailey! Yep, 9th graders are allowed to attend; you just need to be at least 14 years like you said! 🙂 As far as dress length, it’s actually usually a good mix of both, so we’d recommend whatever you prefer. See you there!
Okay, sounds good. How much are the tickets to get in? Also, what if you have a friend who is 14 years old but is in 8th grade, can they still come? And are masks going to be required?
Right now, tickets are $25 each through April 30. Starting May 1, they will increase to $30. Unfortunately, students have to be in at least 9th grade to attend prom, and masks are not required at this time. 🙂
As for the ID; can the students use their high school ID where they typically attend school. As for my child that attends Primavera, what ID should they use
Will a school ID work for the identification? I have a state ID but my friend whos going with me only has a school ID.
For permission slips it doesn’t allow my friends to fill out but only to print it. If they print and fill it out what do they do next?
Hi, Asiana. Once you print and fill it out, you can take a picture and email to [email protected].
My friend can seem to fill out the permission slips. If they print them fill it out what should they do next? Bring it to the prom or take a picture of it and send it the email?
Hi Asiana, have your friend scan or take a photo of the permission slip, then email to [email protected]. Thanks!
How do we upload our permission slips ?
I’m bringing my sister and her boyfriend with me as guests to prom. Do we all fill out the form to buy the tickets or just me? And if we all fill it out, what information do they put where it asks for Student Name (LAST, FIRST), ID, Guest Name(s) Grade, School (if applicable)? Would they put my information or leave it blank? Also, do we have a deadline for buying the prom tickets?
Hi, Olivia. All three of you need to have an individual ticket and permission slip submitted. For the information, they will put their names and all info they can. If they don’t attend a school, they can put N/A. The deadline to purchase tickets is May 20. See you there!
Is is too late to buy tickets for my guests? I already bought my ticket because I originally planned on going by myself but now I have two friends who I’d like to go with.
Hi, Isabel. Not too late! You can still purchase tickets for your friends. Just remember to have them also submit a permission slip. See you there!
Any word on restaurants in the area?
Hi, Jodi. We are still working with restaurants, but so far we know Dave and Buster’s is offering a discount! We will send out an email shortly once we have more info :).
I am coming!
If you don’t have a state Id or a driver license can you use your old Id from the last school You attended .?
Yep! Your school ID will work perfectly. See you there! 🙂
hello so for the permission slips do my guest have to be put on mine because i had already turned one in and i had to cancel with some one else do fill out the whole thing or just the part for guest?
What do I do if I have an ID but the guest is like to bring doesn’t have any ID
Hi, Merysa. Everyone attending will need to bring ID. Does your friend have an old school ID? If not, they can head to the DMV to get an ID printed, even if they don’t have a driver’s license.
I will be attending
Can my child use a ID paper from DMV there ID hasn’t come in the mail yet but they give paper ID until the hard copy ID arrives?
If you’ve already emailed the permission slip, do you have to print the slip and have it on hand?
Will there be anyone else attending by themselves? I’ll be looking for some friends once I get there.
